The following additional terms apply specifically to your use of flect:

Welcome to flect Journal (flect). By using this app, you agree to the following terms.
 

1. Use of the App

flect is a personal journaling application that allows you to record one line per day. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with its normal operation.
 

2. User Content

All journal entries you create remain your content. Flect does not claim ownership of your journal entries. To provide account access, synchronization, and app functionality, journal entries may be securely stored on your device and on Flect's backend systems. Local device caching may also be used to improve performance and limited offline access. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, you are responsible for maintaining access to your account and device. We are not responsible for loss of data.
 

3. Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Flect is designed to be minimal and collect only the information necessary to provide its services. You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings menu. Deleting your account will permanently remove your account and associated journal entries from Flect's backend systems, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.
  

4. Premium Features and Payments

flect offers optional paid features through Apple in-app purchases, including subscription plans and a limited-time lifetime unlock.  Payments are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. All purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple’s policies. 

Premium subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Renewal occurs unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
 

5. Availability

We strive to keep flect available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change or be updated over time.
 

6. Disclaimer

flect is a personal reflection tool and is not intended to provide medical, psychological, or professional advice.
 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, flect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.
 

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Flect if these Terms are violated or if required by law.
